Our client is a b2b digital marketing agency that is based in Manchester. They have seen huge growth recently and have worked with many large international brands. Although the business is focused primarily on b2b marketing functions they don’t employ a corporate persona. In fact, they approach b2b marketing as a people to people relationship and this has seen fantastic results. They are a fully integrated b2b marketing agency that offers a range of services!

As Account Manager, you will be part of the Client Services team and report to the Head of Client Services. The main aspects of the role will be to manage the day to day relationships with important clients of the Agency. This will require you to provide a quality service and build long lasting client relationships. Furthermore, you will be involved in all aspects of project development and be expected to develop initiatives that can help to drive new business and client growth. Another important part of the role is to be responsible for other members of the account management team. This is a great role with many exciting features and responsibilities but requires an individual with substantial agency experience. The Main Responsibilities of the Account Manager:

  • Deliver first class service to a range of clients on a daily basis
  • Work alongside the management team and attend meetings, draft presentations and conduct market research
  • Resolve any issues that may occur with clients, suppliers or accounts.
  • Motivate and give guidance to junior members of the team
  • Manage marketing projects using CMS, email management systems and other software systems
  • Produce feedback on client activity in conjunction with KPI’s
  • Data profiling
  • Support the Account Director with campaign planning
  • Develop projects with the company’s in-house specialists

Requirements of the Account Manager:

  • Demonstrable experience working within an agency or b2b marketing (minimum of 3 years)
  • Fantastic communication and time management skills
  • Excellent copywriting ability
  • Strong team skills
  • Solid IT literacy that includes strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • A relevant degree would be desirable
  • Have a proactive attitude and be client focused
  • Flexible and able to work on many tasks at the same time
