Our client is looking for a talented individual to join their Manchester office as an Account Director. This company works across many different marketing channels such as travel, retail and recruitment. They have long lasting relationships with prestigious brands. This is a sensational opening for a flexible and exciting role and working in an individually and collectively brilliant team.

The Account Director role will require you to be responsible for providing key clients with an outstanding level of media/marketing expertise and informative service at all times. This calls for an individual who is client focused and can exceed customer expectation. To be successful you will be able to present a convincing argument and have the confidence and ability to present the values and story of the company with a level of flair and innovation that engages, challenges and ultimately convinces prospective clients to do business with the company. An individual who has exceptional communicational skills and is strategically adept will thrive in this role.

The Key Responsibilities of the Account Director:

  • Be aware of all strategic objectives of the company in order to achieve senior level strategic relationships
  • Work across online and offline campaigns
  • Build key account relationships by implementing key strategic plans.
  • Research and gain appropriate information on particular customers in order to provide relevant responses
  • To aid in the decision making of which customers and businesses to prioritise
  • Help prepare effective presentations
  • Securely document client information    
  • Keep up to date with and identify the latest market trends
  • Be the senior point of contact for 3rd party communication
  • Prepare and host team and individual meetings to evaluate performance
  • Attend training sessions when required
  • Listen to customer enquiries intently
  • Act as an ambassador for the company and portray the company in a responsible manner

Required skills of the Account Director

  • Previous experience working with communication and media strategies across both online and offline channels
  • Proven track record in developing and growing business
  • Very strong organisational skills to keep the full overview of projects and client requirements
  • Keep up to date with new trends and client briefs
  • Have a professional mindset
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, as the candidate must be comfortable with pitching and presenting media ideas
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Presentable and approachable
