Bootcamp; The Role of PR in digital marketing is being held in
November in Manchester
Metropolitan University. The session proves to cover whether or
not social media marketing is overshadowed by principles of best
practice of PR.

offering first hand tips and advice to anyone who attends. Rick is
an award winning communicator with an interest in social media and
customer engagement in digital routes. Rene is an MCIM Charter
Marketer with 2 postgraduate marketing qualifications and a bank of
agency and client side marketing experience. He has had the
opportunity to deliver global PR and digital projects also.
The session will include a variety of topics including how you
should manage a crisis online, advice on how to measure and
evaluate your own PR activity, is conventional media still relevant
in the social media age and lastly how make an organisations blog
more effective, including how to drive traffic but all with an SEO
point of view.
