Founded in 1990 by Rupert Smith, the MPA Educational Trust is a registered charity that promotes education in marketing and advertising in the North West by providing bursaries to students and supporting many educational events.

Inside Google

MPA Trust is giving an extraordinary chance for you to hear Matt Bush, UK Performance Agency director at Google, talk about the broader activities of the company and give you a rare insight into the fastest growing company in the world.

With a background in digital, Matt Bush will discuss how projects are developed from ideas into products like Google Glass and driverless cars, which are some of Google's latest projects.

In association with MediaCom and Manchester Metropolitan University, this event gives Advertising & Marketing professionals and students an exclusive insight on recent activities and how Google continually innovates.

Google is now well established in the business world as a place for people to go and find information, and in many people's eyes they do what they set out to do; to organise the worlds information and make it universally accessible to everyone. - Manchester Metropolitan University are excited to have the event hosted in the newly built Business School

The Candidate's own Agency Life intern from MMU, Kicki Holm, will be attending this event and explains how this is the ideal opportunity to get inspired and observe one of the top professionals in the digital industry.

"As a student, you want to be inspired to create the start of your own career path. This event gives us the best chance to observe and understand one of the most fast growing companies in the world and get best insight from one of their own people".

The event will be held on November 19th at 18:00 in the MMU Business School, All Saints Campus, Oxford Road, M15 6BH.

This event is hosted in partnership with The MPA Educational Trust - a registered charity - is committed to nurturing that talent by providing bursaries to students and supporting many work-based training opportunities and educational events.
