Head of Digital

A successful and fast-growing ecommerce company in the North West is looking for an ambitious and motivated Head of Digital / Digital Account Director to support the Managing Director and identify new opportunities for business growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing project plans and the client strategy. The candidate will have experience managing projects with budgets over £100,000 and should be a positive, self-motivated and organised team player. A strong commercial awareness alongside experience in negotiating and securing mutually beneficial long-term client relationships are essential for this role.

The company are offering excellent training and development opportunities to suit the needs of the specific candidate.

The ideal candidate:

  • Educated to A-Level or equivalent. A degree qualification would be advantageous.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must have a full UK driving licence and own car.
  • An organised and self-motivated team player.
  • Knowledge of the industry and of current competitors.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience managing projects with a budget of £100,000+
  • A professional approach to work including dress and punctuality .
  • Strong commercial awareness.

 Responsibilities within the role:

  • Identify new strategic opportunities to grow the company's accounts.
  • To support the Managing Director in the acquisition of new business.
  • Develop project plans and client strategies.
  • Managing project teams, clients and risks.
  • Secure and maintain client relationships.
