NABS Music Quiz

Who are NABS?

NABS stands for National Advertising Benevolent Society and they exist to offer support to everyone that works in the media and advertising sector. They can offer you lots of support and advice of all kinds including crisis financial support. Along with fantastic channels for networking they offer a wide range of accessible services for everyone.  They are 100% funded by voluntary support from people like you as well as contributions from the industry. They do an awesome job in our opinion. For loads more information on NABS visit here: http://www.nabs.org.uk/

What is the event?

This fundraiser is the annual Music Quiz and it is held in the country's music capital, Manchester. It's the 3rd year running, underlining its success and appeal, so it is a must attend event. Last year's winners were TBWA and apparently its going to be really tough to beat them! The challenge has been set.

When and Where?

Its being held at the Photolink Creative Group HQ in Ardwick, Manchester. These really impressive studios and offices are a great venue for this event! It's on Thursday 11th October starting at 6.30. So head straight over after work.

For who?

It's for everyone! Agencies, media recruitment agencies, individuals  and clients included are all invites (as it gets quite competitive) and as it is a fundraiser there is a charge of £125 per table which obviously goes to a great cause in the industry we all work in.

Why?

Fun, pizza, networking, check out great offices, meet like minded people and give a little back.

TESTIMONIALS

It didn’t take long to build rapport with Laura, as her excellent communication skills shone through from the start. She placed me in my most recent position and was very thorough in liaising between myself and my prospective employer at the time - an often understated skill. Moving to a new city for the position at short notice was not going to be easy, but Laura made sure I was as informed and prepped as possible when going through the interview stages and seemed to always have my best interests at heart. One of the most personable recruiters I have worked with, and I will certainly be calling her first when I am considering changing position again!
