The Candidate's Advent Calendar - 17 December

We have now caught up with the weekend's dates, and we are on to Monday 17 December. Our advent campaign has been such a success so far, and every day we have picked a winning agency from our Christmas hat., and we will have an agency for all the 25 days of Advent by the end of our festive campaign.

We are excited to say that the winning agency for 17 December is: Integrated Digital agency, Access Advertising

Well done to you all at Access Advertising, and expect a treat from Santa our founding partner Colin soon.

Access Advertising is a respected name in the industry, but according to our sources they are also very creative and fun too.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas from The Candidate. No expense is spared with our office Christmas decorations…

We love their Christmas themed home page on their website. When you visit their site you are greeted with 'A good Christmas feed' which is their novel way of presenting Christmas Tweets and Pinterest pictures.

It is a gorgeous array of festive treats that has been tweeted and added to Pinterest with the hash tag #christmasfeed. Anyone who adds to initiative has a chance of winning a Christmas Delights hamper from Hamper Heaven worth £50. We might give that a go when we tweet this blog post!

Here are a few of our favourites which we have lifted from their website and put on our shopping list: chestnuts, a Christmas log and what looks like mince pies. Nom nom nom.

However, this for us is the winning picture so far:

We tried to order this on Sainsburys Online but we couldn't find it when we searched for bacon. Very impressive - Three wise men came bearing gifts of sausage and bacon.

We congratulate Access Advertising for yet another successful 2012, and all the best for 2013!

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas,

Digital Marketing Recruitment Guide Digital Agency Showcase

It didn’t take long to build rapport with Laura, as her excellent communication skills shone through from the start. She placed me in my most recent position and was very thorough in liaising between myself and my prospective employer at the time - an often understated skill. Moving to a new city for the position at short notice was not going to be easy, but Laura made sure I was as informed and prepped as possible when going through the interview stages and seemed to always have my best interests at heart. One of the most personable recruiters I have worked with, and I will certainly be calling her first when I am considering changing position again!
