After four years of delivering one of the UK's finest annual Search, Analytics and Social Conferences in the heart of Manchester, SAScon, which is organised by leaders in Manchester's digital community, is still going strong. After yet another successful and well-attended conference in June this year, the team have organised a mini event 'SAScon Mini' to be held in November.

SAScon is supported by Manchester Digital and SEMPO (Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization). Their aim is to work closely with digital agencies within the city of Manchester and around the Northwest in order to make it a more effective environment for digital businesses to thrive in. Their annual SAScon event brings together digital professionals from all over the country to hear inspirational keynote speeches, stimulating panel sessions and opportunities to network.

One of the founders of SAScon and member of Manchester digital, Richard Hudson, described the aims of SAScon as "to organise a world class conference in Manchester that brought together the best speakers, yet was affordable so that everyone could come along." SAScon has received masses of positive reviews from attendees over the years. It has been described as "an unmissable event for any Digital Professional".

Some of the panellists and keynote speakers over the years have included:

  • Bruce Daisley, the Director of YouTube in the UK
  • Dom Burch, head of corporate communications & social media at ASDA
  • Ben McKay, Head of SEO at Moneysupermarket.com
