The Candidate are excited to announce that we will be supporting this year's SAScon Beta conference, which is taking place on Tuesday 2nd December at Manchester's Comedy Store. Formally Mini SAScon, SAScon Beta is the second instalment of the annual Search, Analytics and Social conference, which is one of the UK's finest digital marketing events!

Following our sponsorship success at this year's SAScon social event, we couldn't wait to get involved in the spin-off conference. The purpose of the event is to showcase innovative thinking and cutting edge practice in the current digital market, so it's only right for the North West's best digital recruitment specialist to be involved!

Dan Bell of Don't Panic Events, organisers of SAScon & SAScon Beta says:

"This year sees a name change for Mini SAScon, to the newly named SAScon Beta.  This reflects the growth of the spin-off event that supports the main event that will return in 2015.  We are lucky to see Jeff Coghlan from Matmi (a SAScon favourite) who will be shattering some myths and discussing the traps many companies fall into when they embrace digital content for the first time.

We also have James Murray from Microsoft who will be demonstrating Microsoft & Bing's approach to search.  He will also be doing a live demo of Cortana which is their new digital personal assistant.

Along with a number of other fantastic panellists, SAScon Beta is going to ensure that Christmas comes early to Manchester."

The conference will close followed by a fun-filled evening of networking, drinks & comedy including appearances from Mick Ferry, Paul Tonkinson and Christian Riley.

Ticket price: £95 + VAT

Digital Marketing Recruitment Guide Digital Agency Showcase

It didn’t take long to build rapport with Laura, as her excellent communication skills shone through from the start. She placed me in my most recent position and was very thorough in liaising between myself and my prospective employer at the time - an often understated skill. Moving to a new city for the position at short notice was not going to be easy, but Laura made sure I was as informed and prepped as possible when going through the interview stages and seemed to always have my best interests at heart. One of the most personable recruiters I have worked with, and I will certainly be calling her first when I am considering changing position again!
