PHPNW – PHP Northwest Conference

What is it?

It's an event which is attended by those involved in the PHP community. As you'll know, it is the most widely known and used programming language. It is used by over 5 million developers and proudly accounts for over 40% of all web applications. This is still an area of huge potential as it is still only the fourth most popular programming language overall.

When and Where?

This amazing community of PHP developers, guests, speakers and other contributors will be gathering on Friday 5th October, but this goes through to Sunday lunch - loads of time to network and get your views and experiences across! It's at one of Manchester's best conference locations, Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel, Portland Street, M1 4PH. There are social events too surrounding the main events.

For who?

PHP developers and those within that circle only (unless you want to get into the circle and therefore we'd go if that was your plan.) It's a good crowd that go, so will be a genuinely enjoyable experience.

Why?

Come together and talk about PHP. The organisers have considered the need of every attendee so you will get a lot from this. They will be ensuring everyone is welcome and all opinions are respected.

TESTIMONIALS

It didn’t take long to build rapport with Laura, as her excellent communication skills shone through from the start. She placed me in my most recent position and was very thorough in liaising between myself and my prospective employer at the time - an often understated skill. Moving to a new city for the position at short notice was not going to be easy, but Laura made sure I was as informed and prepped as possible when going through the interview stages and seemed to always have my best interests at heart. One of the most personable recruiters I have worked with, and I will certainly be calling her first when I am considering changing position again!
