In the digital sector we are faced with one big problem… We have a huge digital skills shortage! That is where the Digital Skills Festival comes in; to highlight, address and discuss the issues and problems that the digital sector is facing and help businesses find the talent they need in order to grow.
The Digital Skills Festival is a 4 day event that is primarily targeted at students but I'd advise everyone interested in a career in the digital industry to go and brush up on your skills, find out the latest industry news and network with some of the UK's most exciting businesses.
Advice for students: Have a look at which companies will be attending the event, take you're CV and put yourself out there! You could secure some work experience or a placement; invaluable experience that will make you the candidate everyone wants when it comes to applying for jobs!
