The Senior Marketing Executive will be responsible for planning and executing the marketing activity for some of the company’s major clients, across channels such as advertising, partnerships and digital display banners.  The organisation has plans in place to offer more products to their legion of loyal customers, therefore, the Senior Marketing Executive will be required to manage these daily. They will also be expected to work closely with other internal departments in order to deliver new product updates and website projects.  An individual who’s organised, creative and an excellent communicator will thrive within this role because, eventually, the role will require the successful candidate to take on more responsibility as the department grows!

The Key Responsibilities of the Senior Marketing Executive:

  • Plan and implement the marketing activity for two major clients including; email campaigns, website updates, referral campaigns and display adverts
  • Produce clear and detailed briefs which can be utilised by the Design and IT briefs
  • Generate cutting-edge and innovative advertising copy for a variety of digital media
  • Design and deliver targeted email campaigns to generate new leads
  • Write detailed reports which highlight the performance of every campaign, in order to use this information in the future
  • Collaborate with the digital, design and product teams when managing the development of website updates
  • Offer your assistance to the improvement of the advertising plan by identifying appropriate online and offline opportunities

The Perfect Candidate:

  • Proven experience of working as a Senior Marketing Executive in either a B2C or agency environment
  • A degree in a relevant subject along with 5 GCSE’s and 3 A Levels (Grade C or above)
  • Prior experience of managing campaigns is essential for the role
  • Strong attention to detail combined with excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Capable of prioritising their workload in order to achieve targets and meet deadlines
  • Fantastic copywriting and creative assessment skills
  • Line management experience would be beneficial however it isn’t essential
  • A sound understanding of potentially marketing challenges within the industry is desirable
  • An individual who’s willing to learn and ambitious to succeed in their career!
