The role of Senior Account Manager is situated in the company’s offices in South Manchester. There are fantastic and easily accessible transport links including a tram into the city centre. The main duties of the role will be account planning which can include the development of strategies, program implementation which can involve a number of client activities and the managing of a number of accounts and people. This role and especially the management aspects of the role requires someone with five years’ experience in a similar position (one year in a management position) and strong leadership skills.

Main responsibilities for the Senior Account Manager:

  • Manage and lead people and accounts
  • Identify and approve client business objectives
  • Produce objectives to meet communication strategies
  • Develop an outstanding and in-depth understanding of the clients’ business and market
  • Lead, manage and take responsibility for client programmes
  • Continue to develop client relationships
  • Develop your knowledge of economic and industry issues
  • Commercial awareness in order to understand the development of new business
  • Achieve business objectives through development and management of team members
