Based in the vibrant capital of the North, this tech start-up company, specializing in cyber security, is looking for a hardworking individual that wants to pursue a career in sales. You can expect to be working in a modern office space alongside a friendly team. Perks include free drinks on a Friday after 4 pm as the office is equipped with bar facilities!

As a Sales Executive you can expect to be working with a variety of clients and businesses- therefore good verbal communication is essential. This job is focussed on achieving booking and meeting targets within timescales. Therefore you will be excited about working with deadlines and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

As this job is sales orientated, rapid progression is up for grabs and after 6 months there is an opportunity for promotion to Account Manager, with an OTE of £35,000, and after 12 months, Senior Account Manager with an OTE of £50,000, for those most successful and driven. Alongside promotion, perks include flexi-time and the option for working home two days per week.

The Key Responsibilities of the Sales Executive:

  • Plan, perfect and develop innovative sales strategies that are suitable for different client bases and align with the overall business' strategy
  • Educate team members about any developments within the market that could be beneficial to our sales strategies and help maintain and exceed targets
  • Forecast monthly revenues in order to maintain new business opportunities and exceed targets
  • Maintain successful company image when delivering pitches to clients
  • Look into competitors to gain an understanding of what they do and use research to feedback on improvements for our sales pitches
  • Regularly search for new business ventures whilst building and maintaining strong client relationships with key contacts

  • Highly motivated and driven individual
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present confidently to a range of clients and businesses
  • Passionate about a career in sales
  • Must be target driven and hardworking
  • Evidence of progression in your work- this can lead to promotions within the business as a recognition for your hard work
  • An interest in tech and cyber security could be beneficial
