Attention PPC experts! Are you ready to work with multi-million-pound annual budgets for the UK’s no 1 online financial platform? Work in the heart of Manchester as PPC Manager for a growing business that will ensure great career development for the successful candidate.

The PPC Manager must have hands-on PPC experience and previous experience in handling big PPC budgets, as the monthly marketing budget is over £350,000. Reporting directly to the Head of PPC, the PPC Manager must have a strong knowledge and be a specialist within all areas of PPC to provide key insights and present the newest developments and trends. Joining a talented marketing team of 8, the successful candidate will get excellent opportunities to grow in the role and work closely with Google which includes regular visits to their Dublin office! 

Our client has managed to establish themselves as an industry leader in the UK market and they are proud to have a multi-million annual turnover and it doesn’t stop there! They have tripled in size over the last year and now have over 300 employees in their modern designed Manchester City Centre office. You will have excellent public transport links to all surrounding areas of the North West by train, tram and bus and the options are endless with bars, cafes and restaurants outside the office door!

Our client is looking for someone who truly is passionate about PPC and is eager to work for our client’s brand!

Main responsibilities of the PPC Manager

  • Create, implement and evaluate the delivery of PPC campaigns across existing and new paid channels
  • Report on campaign effectiveness and give insight to the appropriate management and stakeholders
  • Test, improve and optimise campaigns and bid management platforms to achieve KPI’s and targets
  • Analyse performance and data looking for trends and opportunities to improve and maximise the return on investment
  • Be the go-to person on PPC, develop strong relationships with internal departments and managers
  • Keep on top of industry advances and appropriate tools and software to enhance all paid search channels.

Required skills and attributes of the PPC Manager

  • Previous experience in hands-on PPC
  • Proficient in using Google Analytics and Google AdWords
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience planning, managing and reporting on successful PPC campaigns
  • Great communicator with polished client facing skills
  • The ability to successfully manage budgets and generate excellent ROI
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel including V-Lookups and Pivot tables
  • High attention to detail a clear and fluent writer and speaker
  • Numerical, analytic and able to provide insight on high-level data and pinpoint key important information to report
  • Experience and knowledge of digital channels and multichannel marketing
  • Organised and able to deal with a variety of tasks and clients at any one time, prioritising when required
  • Great interpersonal skills to fit in and work with diverse teams across the business
