One of the largest advertising agencies in the UK is looking for a PPC Manager to drive their PPC digital service offering forward. This is a middle management position and the successful candidate will direct a large team to deliver market leading solutions. The advertising agency’s digital client base is enviable as they work with blue chip companies and the role will allow the right candidate to work with some of the leading advertisers in the world. This is in an integrated agency so will allow the right candidate to work on campaigns which have PPC as part of the full marketing mix.

This award winning agency pride themselves on planning and buying skills and are regarded as a real digital centre of excellence. The PPC manager will manage the existing team as well as successfully grow that moving forward. Therefore having the full mix of technical, strategic and management skills is essential.

In addition, the role will also include dealing with senior marketing clients as well as board directors in these organisations. Delivering strategy will be paramount as well as being accountable to these client contacts.

Responsibilities of the PPC Manager will include;

  • Developing and driving an excellent PPC Team
  • Building and maintaining excellent client relationships being an expert in how they tick and fully understand their campaign objectives and update on performance, contributing to new business acquisition and pitches
  • Giving expert advice and contributing to campaign strategy and implementation
  • Be the PPC expert carrying out keyword research and generate effective PPC ad copy
  • Monitoring and evaluating the performance of PPC campaigns ensuring that they are running at the most optimal level
  • Monitoring and managing campaign budgets identifying overspends and opportunities to maximise ROI

The ideal candidate;

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience planning, managing and reporting on successful PPC campaigns
  • The ability to drive and grow a successful competent team
  • Great communicator with polished client facing skills
  • An expert understanding of Google Adwords and other paid search platforms and can use and report information effectively
  • The ability to successfully manage budgets and generate excellent ROI
  • Naturally organised and can prioritise and plan and evaluate schedules where necessary
