Our client is a successful Business Telecommunications company who are looking to expand their operations team. The business has seen significant growth over the last few years and they now require a technically minded individual to join their team as an Operations Administrator to support the growth of the business. If you are ambitious, have excellent I.T skills and are looking for a new and exciting challenge, this could be the perfect job for you!

The Operations Administrator role incorporates a variety of responsibilities, such as customer service, provisioning, billing, fault diagnostics, and technical support. It is therefore important to have experience within a similar role, and be able to confidently handle customer and supplier enquiries effectively. The successful candidate can enjoy several benefits, including a day off on your birthday, a free broadband and phone line package, and annual pay rises.  

Roles and responsibilities of the Operations Administrator:

  • Provide attentive and effective support to customers.
  • Oversee the telemarketing team to ensure productivity.
  • Note customer issues and faults effectively.
  • Collect customer invoices and issue collection letters.
  • Accurately process orders.
  • Manage enquiries regarding wireless routers, data connectivity, and Windows PC’s.
  • CRM task management.

Required skills and attributes:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and customer relation skills.
  • Can work well as part of a team as well as use own initiative.
  • Competent using computers, and can learn technical processes quickly.
  • Able to work well under pressure and remain organised when managing workload.
  • Basic understanding of Telecoms Billing Systems and experience with Customer Service is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated and driven.
  • Polite and friendly telephone manner.
  • Driving license is desired but not essential.
