The Multi-Channel Analyst will be managing and maintaining the Google Analytics Premium account and will use the data to provide insight, recommendations and implement new functionality. They will also manage a small team and lead the implementation of User ID tracking within the Google Analytics account.

Key responsibilities of the Multi-Channel Analyst:

  • Provide insightful analysis across all channels (desktop, mobile, apps & in-store devices)
  • Use Google Analytics to report relevant analysis and requirements across the group
  • Ensure recommendations to improve customer experience, profitably and loyalty are pro-actively made
  • Manage and maintain the correct levels of access to all GA accounts across the group
  • Ensure the gathering of data is always reliable and accurate, reconciling with internal and third-party systems to ensure accuracy
  • Proactively identify and resolve GA tagging issues and be responsible for the setup of GA tagging for new platforms, channels and functionalities
  • Managing development priorities via a JIRA system in conjunction with the Multi-Channel technology team
  • Support UX team on analysis of A/B testing programmes
  • Identify issues and follow up with key stakeholders on reporting via GA
  • Consistently distribute regular updates and recommendations on channel performance to optimise conversion

Skills and attributes:

  • Expert knowledge and experience working with Google Analytics, Coremetrics, WebTrends etc. (preferably Google Analytics)
  • Previous experience in an eCommerce environment
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiar with advanced formulae
  • Experience in digital marketing, including reporting on CPC, CPA, PPC, SEO and Affiliate performance
  • Has previous experience in being able to simplify complex datasets in a clear and concise way to present to key stakeholders
