This successful company operate several award-winning restaurants in Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds. Providing the customer with a personal dining experience, serving quality dishes, our client is searching for a Marketing Manager to communicate the growing success. Balancing traditional marketing techniques and digital methods, the successful candidate will work across areas of PR to event organising, meeting and excelling targets.

The role is primarily based in Manchester, but provides flexibility and diversification, with visits to Liverpool and Leeds sites. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for promoting the brand locally, as well as producing strong online campaigns. This career consists of a range of key marketing areas, including building client relationships, events and networking, and people management.

Roles and Responsibilities of The Marketing Manager:

  • Operate a concise Marketing strategy for the restaurant brands within the portfolio and produce reports of individual events’ success
  • Manage the PR for the brands, searching for areas to maximise PR growth
  • Build and maintain successful client relationships, including local and industry press
  • Create a local network database
  • Deliver and represent the brand at industry and networking events
  • Continuous brand development; increasing awareness, ensure all advertising and PR is within brand guidelines
  • Effective people management; managing onsite Business Development Managers, guide them to achieve targets and set constant plan of actions and targets

Skills and Attributes:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in hospitality, in a Business Development or Events Management role (Marketing Manager/Executive)
  • Degree in Marketing, CIM qualification or MBA
  • Experience of multi-brand campaign management across a variety of channels
  • Forecasting and Budgeting experience
  • Digital marketing practice in strategy and planning
  • Confident at managing a brand and communicating
  • Knowledge of networking and hosting
  • Perfect written and verbal skills
  • Attentive to detail, with the ability to tailor communications to relevant target audiences
  • A motivated, flexible and organised individual, including with regards to working hours
