Do you want to lead a new function at an award-winning energy business? We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to build their own team whilst creating ground-breaking marketing strategies!

Our client is growing rapidly and is now ready to launch a new function of their company. They require a Marketing Manager with previous B2B and B2C experience, to start up a new, successful team. This business invest in the future and therefore this Marketing Manager will focus on growing a new customer base with the objective of further expanding the business nationally.

Working closely with the sales team, the Marketing Manager will develop and manage efficient marketing strategies and campaigns. The successful candidate must be a strong and ambitious manager who is experienced in implementing efficient B2B and B2C strategies. The Marketing Manager will furthermore develop internal communication strategies to enhance the information flow across the organisation. This is a very exciting role, where the successful candidate will be running the team and be part of the whole campaign process from idea generation to budget planning and performance reporting.

Main responsibilities of the Marketing Manager

  • Implement strong strategies to enhance customer acquisition and retention
  • Run media coverage and maximise all digital platforms and channels
  • Manage the corporate website to enhance sales conversions and the customer journey
  • Lead the brand management with new ideas to enhance brand awareness on the market
  • Build and manage the team, whilst managing the operational activities to ensure all marketing plans and processes are running efficiently
  • Participate in product and service developments to create a suitable marketing plan
  • Work closely with other senior managers, so marketing plans and strategies are developed according to the company values, budgets and implemented efficiently
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships
  • Keep up to date on the newest industry and digital trends

Required skills and experience of the candidate

  • Previous experience working with B2B and B2C
  • Strong market research skills to identify the target audience and competitor landscape
  • Experience in managing external agencies and an internal marketing team
  • Bachelor degree in a Marketing field
  • Be a qualified member of the CIM or equivalent
  • Previous experience of managing Affiliate, e-mail marketing, social media platforms, PPC and SEO activities
  • Strong digital knowledge and the newest trends
  • Previous experience in a marketing role is essential
  • Great budget management experience
  • Experience in managing suppliers, run market research, and gather data for market analysis
  • Ability to set targets for the team and produce performance reports
  • Previous experience of creating strong customer acquisition marketing campaigns
