The ideal candidate will be someone who is looking to expand their commercial knowledge and enjoy working in a place where no two days are the same. They will be familiar with the marketing and trading environment and have an understanding of marketing dashboards and essential analytical software. They will ensure that the company website is achieving its revenue and profit goals through continual analysis of acquisition channels and taking on board results, analysis and feedback.

Our client is one the leading specialist online retailers in the UK. Based in Cheshire, the role will report to the Trading Director. This opportunity is perfect for someone who wants to challenge themselves in the marketing sector and work for a company that is rapidly expanding.

 

Key Responsibilities of the Marketing & CRM Analyst

  • Make calculated business decisions through analysing results on Google Analytics and similar analytic software tools
  • Keep on top of reporting and Marketing Dashboards for customer performance, analysis of acquisition channels, and long term customer loyalty
  • Deliver well executed presentations and support the Senior Management team in the development of future business strategies and plans
  • Maximise conversion and retention rates
  • Maximise the return on investment through marketing campaigns by working alongside senior management
  • Monitor customer feedback, consumer trends and competitor activity and assist in the analysis of performance to understand the best way for company growth
  • Monitor and maintain the required stock levels to support the progression of the business
  • Ensure that the data used for the development and execution of the marketing plan is up to date, by continually analysing the customer database to optimise business strategy
  • Work alongside marketing and creative teams within the business to assist with data analysis
  • Improve commercial performance by analysing the website and how customers move around it. Use this analysis to develop the website so to create excellent customer journeys

 

Skills and attributes of the Marketing & CRM Analyst

  • A Degree and previous education in a business discipline is essential
  • A sound knowledge of both Microsoft Access and Excel are critical to the role
  • Analytical and numerical skills are important as they will be working with databases and results
  • Someone who is passionate about online retailing and experience in Google Analytics would be advantageous
  • Strong communication skills are important as they will be working in a team environment
  • Has an awareness of customer, market and competitor performance through careful analysis
