Our client is a retail giant and requires an experienced, committed eCommerce Manager to further the company’s success. This role will be fast paced, challenging and rewarding. If you have proven excellent leadership skills and can motivate, inspire and influence others then this could be the job for you!

This is a role in which personal attributes and skills will shine through; the successful candidate will lead example as a role model for the other employees and utilise their expertise in eCommerce to be an effective and fantastic eCommerce Manager. Day to day, the eCommerce Manager will be responsible for the trading activity on the sites of one of the world’s leading online retailers!

Roles & Responsibilities of the eCommerce Manager:

  • Use knowledge and understanding of the trading performance of the websites to feed this into key directional and trade meetings and use as basis to make decisions around the promotional plan
  • Responsible for the execution of the promotional plan across various devices (desktop, tablet, mobile etc.) and make decisions on how to best gain maximum site traffic
  • Manage own team to deliver the promotional plan across the group of websites ensuring all promotional activity goes live correctly and according to plan
  • Utilising web analytics tools and working with the insight team to monitor performance of all the key elements of the website and make recommendations for change to the other managers
  • Merchandising all products to maximise sales and up-sell
  • Ensure that stock is displayed online correctly and all is right on the site
  • Monitor competitor activity and conduct reviews to gain a better understanding of the marketplace
  • Optimise customer experience on a day to day basis and discuss this with the user experience team

  • Will have a commercial flair with strong communication and organisational skills
  • Understand performance in order to use web analytic tools
