Manage all aspects of the online eCommerce functions and grow your own team as eCommerce Manager for an online fashion retailer in Manchester!

The eCommerce Manager will work closely with the Creative Director and have the full responsibility of the online eCommerce functions including revenue management. The successful candidate will get a chance to manage a highly successful business and develop new business opportunities to optimise the online user experience.

Our client is a rapidly growing and popular online fashion retailer who is looking for a talented Ecommerce Manager to take on the responsibility to manage CRM functionalities, buyers, operational activities and fulfilment. This role involves outstanding responsibilities, which gives a lot of freedom for the successful candidate to unfold strong managerial skills in a dynamic and important role.

Main responsibilities of the eCommerce Manager

  • Manage and ensure that the website content is rich of key words to optimise SERP ranking
  • Work on improving the overall user experience including CRM functions to increase the customer database
  • Work closely with the fulfilment team and buyers to increase profit margins
  • Monitor campaigns to ensure they all give a maximum impact
  • Manage and administrate system processes whilst managing the website design
  • Take ownership of SEO and PPC activities
  • Establish KPIs and ensure they are all reached by using analytical tools
  • Analyse data to understand the customer behaviour
  • Work closely with the Financial Director on sales targets and budget management
  • Manage and liaise with external agencies for key projects including new website testing
  • Work with the Merchandising Manager on online product management
  • Manage and identify ways to improve operational activities within the company

Required skills and attributes of the successful candidate

  • Previous experience of managing an ecommerce team
  • Strong time management skills to manage projects
  • Previous experience using analytical tools and strong understanding on Magento
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The successful candidate must have a great interest in fashion and retail
  • Proven track record of delivering sales and profit growth
