They will provide support in digital marketing to the company’s in-house team and external agencies.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Executive!

  • Deliver a creative social media strategy which includes owned, earned and paid for activity
  • Burst content ideas using various mediums, for use on social networking accounts including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube
  • Work with the content and creative team to manage and maintain the content pages of the company website
  • Use the allocated software to produce email campaigns, SMS marketing and social media scheduling
  • Manage and implement the status of all live and planned website promotions
  • Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the brand is at the forefront of industry developments keeping a close eye on mobile marketing and social media
  • Work with 3rd party suppliers to ensure the marketing team have access to all the resources required to carry out key tasks
  • Create and implement ongoing marketing plans and implement reactive marketing initiatives to support the business
  • Produce reports for senior members of staff detailing the performance of marketing activity
  • Produce offline activity that is on brand and complements online activity, this includes copywriting, proofreading and sign-off

Key Skills and Attributes

  • A Marketing Degree or equivalent would be highly advantageous
  • Strong written skills. Creating engaging content for various online and offline channels.
  • Video and Image editing capabilities would be advantageous
  • Have an analytic mind and able to grasp figures and performance and prepare reports demonstrating this.
  • It would be highly advantageous to have knowledge of web development techniques, HTML and CSS
  • Strong understanding and best practices for SEO.
  • Good working experience of MS Excel to analyse and manipulate data within spreadsheets.
  • Organised, resilient and able to work to unmissable deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment!
