Our client has been rapidly expanding and is looking for a Digital Marketing Executive that can implement innovative marketing strategies and fresh ideas into the team.  The successful candidate will be a sports enthusiast, be creative and flourish in a fast-paced environment.   

Based in thriving Manchester, this UK fashion retailer has a large industry presence as it is home to many international sports brands. Our client is looking for a candidate to drive company revenue and create engaging strategies to support the continuous growth of their company!  They will directly report to the Designer, ensuring you are on track and taken care of to assist with the most creative campaigns.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Executive

  • Assist and report to the Designer with creative strategies
  • Improve traffic and conversion rates across all media platforms, including mobile and apps
  • Keep track of all ongoing activity and take action to improve performance 
  • Ensure that the customer journey is effective from all marketing perspectives all the way through to purchase
  • Support the UX Team and Multi-Channel Lead to ensure that regular testing takes place
  • Briefing the team with ongoing digital marketing requirements for all channels that must be implemented
  • Assist with content launches to ensure it hits deadlines
  • Check all platform-marketing areas are being utilised to maximise sales
  • Review top website searches and action merchandising rules to improve results and conversion
  • Test all product listing and links to ensure correct links are used
  • Review heat maps and provide analysis to the team for future changes 

Skills and Attributes

  • Experience in a similar marketing role would be advantageous 
  • Interested in sports fashion and keeps up to date with the latest sports trends, as well as having an interest in sport would be advantageous 
  • Must be fully IT literate and proficient in key software 
  • Productive under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Highly organised with excellent administrative skills
