We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join a highly innovative and rapidly growing company as a Digital Marketing Executive! The successful candidate will be a part of a close and sociable team, and work in an office with a lively atmosphere, where every day is fun and exciting. The office is based in Altrincham and there is free parking available to all employees.

This client is looking for a new addition to their sales and marketing team. The successful candidate will work alongside the Sales and Operations Director to develop exciting marketing plans, including social media campaigns, product launches, and press releases. This role is highly important for the overall success of the marketing strategy; therefore, it is essential to have an in-depth understanding of digital marketing strategies and to have previous experience in a similar role.

Key responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Executive:

  • Prepare web and email marketing campaigns directed to existing clients and target audiences.
  • Build and maintain a strong presence on social media platforms.
  • Monitor PPC keywords and work with the most relevant phrases to ensure cost effectiveness within budgets.
  • Manage on and offsite SEO strategy, and maximise SEO opportunities using relevant data.
  • Organise and attend a variety of events and conferences, and devise entries to prestigious industry events.
  • Monitor the website performance and enhance user experience accordingly.
  • Lead E-CRM campaigns from start to finish.
  • Conduct a variety of market research procedures, such as focus groups and customer questionnaires.
  • Monitor the activity and marketing behaviours of competitors.

Required skills and attributes:

  • 18 months – 2 years’ experience in a PR/Social/Content role.
  • Experience managing multiple social media platforms.
  • Experience working on direct marketing campaigns, and with website content management and online monitoring tools.
  • Good working knowledge of multi-channel content planning, creation, and delivery.
  • Can effectively use email marketing platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A strong team player, but can also use own initiative.
  • Experience writing newsletter articles/blogs.
  • Previously worked for/with a global brand.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Must be able to drive.
