We have an excellent opportunity for a Digital Engagement Director at a world-leading Advertising agency based in Manchester City Centre. The Director will be the key motivator in creating, implementing and measuring the success of content strategies. They will work across the activation of social, outreach and content and build a team that is driven to deliver the best for their customers. They will analyse these using analytic tools and capture success, identify problems and create solutions where possible.

They will influence and develop a culture in a business and take them forward in delivering digital to their clients that live and breathe world-class client services.

Roles and Responsibilities Digital Engagement Director

  • To deliver a team of enthusiastic team members who thrive on delivering excellent client service
  • Planning workload, delegate tasks, build team capability and measure success
  • To be positive and enthusiastic and can create solutions and encourage big thinkers within the teams
  • To analyse result figures and use these to build future content strategies and recognise what good looks like
  • Create innovative content for a variety of different B2B and B2C audiences considering all content types for example blogs, videos etc.
  • Use solid copywriting skills to recognise high quality and use in content strategy and content design
  • Uses expert SEO knowledge and direct teams of using creating content
  • Understand and keep up to date with available Social Media Platforms and understand their values and limitations
  • Using analytic tools and platforms to collate information and use this in strategy building
  • Communicate clear and achievable strategies that deliver the best value for customers

Skills and Attributes

  • A minimum of 5-year experience in a similar role digital content role with an impressive portfolio that contains key examples of managing high performing teams
  • Experience and knowledge of delivering excellent content strategy looking at all the technical aspects
  • Have a degree in a related discipline would be highly advantageous
  • Experience in all digital marketing channels
  • Have a good grasp of the technology side of digital content marketing as well as software and development
  • An excellent communicator who is able to deliver clear and concise strategies in English and at least one other language would be highly advantageous
