Our client is on the forefront of providing professional academic services and their office is located in the heart of busy Manchester, surrounded by trendy bars, restaurants, and shops. They have managed to create a credible and strong business because they invest in efficient data mining and structure to understand their customer base and target them according to the identified needs. They are therefore looking for a CRM Data Analyst to run detailed campaign analysis and report on the marketing activities driven by data.

The CRM Data Analyst will report directly to the Marketing Automation Manager on key customer data findings and find areas for improvements. The main purpose of the role is to optimise and enhance the customer relationship through data mining and implementation of Data warehousing and relationship marketing. This is an excellent role, where the successful candidate will get training and be part of development programs, so there are excellent opportunities to grow in the role.

Main responsibilities of the CRM Data Analyst

  • Identify requirements and improve the marketing database
  • Analyse data to create targeted communication strategies
  • Develop customer profiles based on a variety of channels
  • Build databases for strategic partners
  • Support the development of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud database and the management with other Salesforce platforms
  • Work closely with the senior management to deliver key business strategies
  • Manage and recommend data selection, whilst taking ownership if automated and manual marketing selections

Required skills and attributes of the CRM Data Analyst

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Previous experience of understanding and working with relational databases
  • Ability to use data analysis tools like SAS or SQL
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office package
  • Ability to explain technical terms and solutions to other teams
  • Proven track record of being a problem solver
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work with proactive professional attitude
  • Open for self-development and training to enhance skills
