Are you a creative individual or a recent marketing graduate? We’re giving you the chance to join an international and multi award-winning digital agency in Cheshire as their Creative Executive.

The Creative Executive will join our client’s award-winning Creative team and work closely with the copywriter, graphic designer, web developers and report directly to the Head of Creative in the agency.

The successful candidate will have a wide variety of responsibilities, which includes creating content, promotion material for live marketing events and assist the team with different activities when required. This is a role, where the individual, will get an opportunity to improve writing and creative skills on a daily basis, which can let you grow in the role. The Creative Executive will furthermore work with the agency’s and clients’ social media channels, where your creative and critical way of thinking will be tested, so it is essential to keep up to date on industry developments, whilst working in a fast-paced environment.

Main responsibilities of the Creative Executive

  • Assist the copywriter on creating excellent copy for key clients
  • Work on a variety of projects within the Creative, Paid Media and Organic teams in the agency
  • Manage the agency’s marketing calendar and notes from the marketing meetings
  • Report the multi-channel marketing activities
  • Manage the in-house social media channels on a daily basis, whilst creating new content and identify new opportunities
  • Assist with promotional material for industry events
  • Research new industry topics for the agency to join and participate in
  • Support new business activities and work with external partners on creative projects
  • Establish new marketing processes and activities and ensure these are followed by everyone in the agency
  • Product case studies for the agency’s website

Required skills and experience

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong time management and organisational skills to coordinate meetings and activities
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong passion for marketing and is eager to learn
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines
  • Great knowledge of how SEO works
  • Having graphic design skills, knowledge of using CMS, understanding of web development and have a portfolio of creative work are not essential, but highly advantageous
