We have an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious and entrepreneurial Account Manager to join a fun, vibrant and extremely successful agency in South Manchester! The successful candidate will have a strong impact on the company developments, manage affluent clients, and receive generous bonuses!  

Working in the prosperous area of South Manchester, the successful candidate will be working within an affluent marketplace and manage exciting projects for a wealthy niche market. Our client is a successful agency who has faced extreme growth within the last few years and is looking for an Account Manager with expertise in offline channels including; press, OOH, TV and door drops. Their office is only a 20-minute train ride from Manchester City Centre, which gives excellent commuting opportunities!

The Account Manager will be an essential part of the agency and have a great impact on the company developments and success. Our client is looking for an individual who has excellent attention to detail and is looking for an opportunity to work in a new and fun environment with great responsibilities. The Account Manager must be very ambitious and have a strong entrepreneurial mindset, as the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating campaign promotion and report directly to the Agency Directors.  

Main responsibilities for the Account Manager

  • Co-operate with the creative teams and assist directors in campaign planning and execution
  • Manage budgets and plan advertising campaigns according to the client brief together with the directors
  • Present campaign ideas to clients as well as the directors of the agency
  • Daily analysis and report of campaign performance and effectiveness
  • Run client reports and observe competitor campaigns
  • Be part of business development and identify new business opportunities together the agency director
  • Be an active part of the agency’s administrative tasks
  • Arrange and attend client meetings

Required skills of the candidate

  • Minimum 18 months’ previous experience within a similar role
  • Strong understanding of all things digital
  • Proactive and positive interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding presentation skills
  • Excellent organisational and management skills are vital for this role
  • Strong analytical skills are essential
  • Enthusiastic about participating in agency administrative tasks
  • Great teamwork and communication skills to ensure client briefs are well communicated to all involved
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
