A superb digital marketing agency based in a modern office in South Manchester is looking for an Account Manager with an interest in SEO strategies to join them. This opportunity is brilliant for anyone wanting to take the next steps into being an Account Manager with plenty of opportunities to progress.

Due to rapid expansion, our client is going through a lot of changes within the company. The agency offers a wide variety of digital services and has established themselves to have an impeccable reputation in the industry with their fantastic digital knowledge in the sector. The successful candidate will be part of the campaign process including content and client management. This role will focus primarily on SEO, therefore, the successful candidate will have a genuine interest in SEO strategies and preferably previous experience in an SEO related role. Being based in South Manchester, our client has excellent transport links both road and rail.

If you are a good speaker, then this role of an Account Manager will be perfect as you get to travel and speak at different conferences around the world.

Main Responsibilities of an Account Manager:

  • Manage client relationships and identify new client and business opportunities for the company.
  • Understand client objectives and develop ideas that meet the client’s expectations
  • Respond to any enquiries and find solutions to any issues that occur
  • Build excellent client relationships
  • Support the management team on several different accounts
  • Work closely with project managers and schedule different campaigns to happen
  • Being able to develop working relations with clients and stakeholders within the company
  • Analyse and report on various marketing activities and provide insights for any improvements

Required skills and attributes of an Account Manager:

  • Previous experience with client management
  • Previous experience working in an agency
  • Excellent organisation skills to create an overview of different campaigns
  • Being able to manage and work with your own routine
  • Able to implement strategy and set different KPIs
  • Strong SEO skills to manage different aspects to implement different campaigns
  • Advanced understanding of current SEO techniques and challenges
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to help with building strong client relationships
  • Good analytical skills to identify any improvements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment and to work under pressure and tight deadlines
